Skoda stopped operating in Russia in the spring of 2022. Prior to this, the Kodiaq was assembled at the GAZ Group facilities in Nizhny Novgorod along with the Karoq and Octavia, as well as the Volkswagen Taos.

A little over a month ago, the Czech brand introduced the second generation Kodiaq. The crossover remained recognizable, having tried on a new corporate style, acquired a hybrid power plant and became more spacious.
