The Minister of Industry and Trade of the Tula Region, Vyacheslav Romanov, told reporters: this year they are going to produce more than 130 thousand cars in the region. The result of 2023 is about 100 thousand assembled cars, therefore, the dynamics of production growth will be more than 30 percent. The expected new Haval products are the budget crossover M6 and the frame SUV H9.

The Haval automobile plant in the Tula region assembles Jolion, F7/F7x and Dargo crossovers, as well as H9 frame SUVs. The company’s bestseller is Jolion, which has recently undergone restyling. By the end of the first half of the year, the H9 should change its generation, and there are also immediate plans to organize the production of “commodity” M6 crossovers.

By the end of the year, the H5 frame SUV and H3 and F8 crossovers may enter the Russian market, but their localization in Tula is questionable. The plan of 130 thousand cars produced can be achieved by organizing the production of the M6: this model belongs to the “state sector” and will certainly become one of the best sellers.

The Great Wall concern is developing premium brands in Russia: the Tank line will be replenished with an SUV with the index “400”, and Wey hybrids will be complemented by a minivan and an as yet unnamed seven-seat crossover. But the Ora brand is currently represented by the only electric city car, and the expansion of the line is questionable.
