Geely’s Chinese subsidiary has shared official photos of the facelifted Haoyue L (badged as Okavango in export markets). Sales will begin at the end of November, but for now the innovations are listed. The diagonal of the touchscreen of the infotainment complex has been increased. The processor and operating system have been updated. The engine has been modernized and the color palette has been expanded.

The current Geely Haoyue L has been on sale in China for less than a year, so it’s too early for restyling. However, there were some spot improvements: the touch screen became one and a half times larger in area (although the diagonal increased from 12.3 to 14.6 inches), the performance of the media system increased, and the light brown finish was replaced by orange-red.

An important technical addition is the optimization and retuning of the 2.0-liter Volvo Drive-E turbo-four. Power (218 horsepower) and torque (325 Nm) are unchanged, achieved at the same speed, but now AI-92 gasoline can be poured into the engine. AI-95 was recommended for its predecessor. Geely has worked on the settings so that poor buyers can save on fuel.

Prices for the 2024 Geely Haoyue L have not been announced, but a noticeable increase in price is unlikely. Now the crossover only comes with front-wheel drive and a three-row interior, and prices range from 128 to 148 thousand yuan (equivalent to 18-20 thousand dollars). In Russia, the Haoyue L design was protected, but there are no prerequisites for official deliveries yet.
