The company showed the exterior of both versions – both the liftback and the station wagon – but so far only in design sketches. However, the flagship has already appeared in photos more than once in thin camouflage, and there is very little time left to wait until the full premiere: it will take place on November 2 at 19:00 Central European time. The “fourth” Superb is designed according to the new Skoda Modern Solid language (which can be translated as “modern and solid”), which brings in old elements of the corporate “crystalline” style. The appearance of the new Kodiaq, which changed its generation for the first time two weeks ago, is made in the same more dynamic manner.

Key features of the Superb’s exterior are the modernized matrix headlights and LED rear lights, which retain the C-shaped elements. The liftback will add 43 millimeters to 4912 millimeters in length, and the station wagon will add 40 millimeters to 4902 millimeters. The height will also increase, although less noticeably (by 12 and five millimeters), and the width, on the contrary, will decrease by 15 millimeters. The distance between the axles will be the same 2841 millimeters.
Thanks to the increase in dimensions, the cabin will become more spacious, and more cargo will fit in the trunk. For the liftback, the minimum volume will increase by 20 liters to 645 liters, for the station wagon – by 30 liters to 690. In the cabin, which Skoda has already declassified, there will be a “floating” display with a diagonal of 12.9 inches, washers with screens and a gear selector moved under the steering wheel.
The engine range will include petrol and diesel engines, as well as plug-in hybrid units. The drive is front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, but the gearbox is only a robotic DSG with seven steps or six in the case of the electrified Superb.
