The new Mercedes-Benz G-Class electric SUV was tested on a mountain road

We can say with complete confidence that almost the entire world is frozen in anticipation of the premiere of the new Mercedes-Benz G-Class 2024. Interest is largely dictated by the fact that the SUV promises to become more environmentally friendly, but at the same time maintain its outstanding performance in cross-country ability and maneuverability. This is confirmed by a video presented by the press service of the Mercedes company.

The head of the German brand, Ola Kallenius, tested the car. At the same time, the conditions for the SUV were chosen to be as difficult as possible. He had to prove himself while driving on mountain roads, which are distinguished by their unpredictability. The head of the brand decided to take a ride in Austria along Mount Schöckl. Particular emphasis in this testing was placed on the operation of the G Turn mode.

Overall, the results of this test were excellent. Firstly, the SUV has the ability to distribute traction to all four wheels, which makes it quite passable in almost any road conditions. Secondly, it can be deployed on the spot. This mode will most likely be activated using a key using the steering wheel paddle shifter. The technical characteristics of the SUV have not yet been disclosed, as well as the appearance (photo: Mercedes-Benz).
