Haval recalls more than 50,000 crossovers in Russia

The largest Chinese automaker Haval is faced with a serious reputational problem in Russia, which could negatively affect sales. The Russian representative office of the company, on its own initiative, announced a large-scale recall of cars produced over the past year.

According to information received from Rosstandart, 55,000 Haval cars of four models are subject to recall – F7, F7x, Jolion and Dargo. We are talking about cars produced from July 2022 to June 2023 in accordance with a specific list of VIN identification codes. The reason for the recall lies in a technical defect – the vehicles in question did not have a mandatory emergency call device for rescue services, integrated into the Russian Era-Glonass system.

After carrying out the necessary work to install the missing equipment, all Haval vehicles will be returned to their owners. You can independently check whether a particular car is subject to recall on the Rosstandart website – just check the VIN code. The official dealer will also notify the owner about the upcoming recall. (photo: Haval)
