In the spring of 2022, Cadillac introduced the Escalade SUV, the first in the history of the Cadillac V family of “charged” models. The car received a powerful engine, which is quite enough for most buyers, but if the power of the factory version is suddenly not enough for someone, the American tuning studio Hennessey, which is famous for its powerful cars based on models of American brands, presented its own version of modifying the SUV with H1000 package.

The full-size SUV weighs 2,820 kilograms, but the factory Escalade-V has 682 horsepower and 885 Nm of torque. The car is equipped with a 6.2-liter supercharged gasoline V8, has an all-wheel drive transmission and a 10-speed automatic transmission.

John Hennessy’s wards seriously worked on the engine, equipping it with a new cylinder head, a new camshaft, reinforced valves and valve springs, more efficient fuel injectors, an improved cooling system, a new intake system and a new exhaust, as well as a number of other improvements, including a new control unit .

Output has increased to 1020 horsepower and 1196 Nm, but no other changes are made to the model – the chassis and brakes remain standard. The cost of the Cadillac Escalade-V H1000 has not been announced. The studio is not going to limit the circulation of the SUV, so the price of modifications will be quite affordable compared to the limited projects of the Texas company.
