Cochespias has shared a preview of official photos of the EM90: Volvo’s anticipated new product, which will debut on November 12th. The outside of the minivan managed to appear in the photographs of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of China, and now images of the interior have arrived. In terms of interior decoration, it was not possible to find any differences from the original Zeekr 009: the seats, door cards, and infotainment complex are the same.
The main feature of the Volvo EM90 will be the nose: the minivan will receive its own “face” with signature headlights in the style of Thor’s hammer. The new product will also feature a luminous Volvo label; the plug, simulating a radiator grille, will have LED inclusions. At the rear, the single-box vehicle under the Swedish brand will be closer to the Zeekr, but there are some differences in store.

According to preliminary data, the Volvo EM90 can be ordered not only with all-wheel drive, but also with rear-wheel drive. If a large 140-kilowatt-hour traction battery is placed between the axles, then the “Swedish” minivan will be longer-range than the Chinese original, for which a range of up to 820 kilometers (CLTC) is stated. A simplified powertrain could mean the EM90 will be cheaper than the Zeekr 009.
All details about the new product will be revealed on November 12. In the meantime, Volvo publishes teasers and details about safety systems and equipment. The EM90 is confirmed to have a 21-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system as standard.
