Local publication Khodro Bank shared pictures of the Pars Khodro Cadilla P90 prototype. The four-door was captured during transportation, which suggests that the assembly of the model is not far off, although certification has not yet been completed. However, the design is unlikely to change: the Iranian copy of the first generation Logan will receive original optics, bumpers, tidy, a touchscreen in the cabin and a Peugeot engine.

The key technical difference of the Pars Khodro Cadilla P90 is the naturally aspirated 16-valve 1.6-liter ME16 engine. We are talking about an Iranian-assembled Peugeot TU5 engine: the unit produces 110 horsepower and 147 Nm of torque. There were rumors about installing Lada engines on local Logans, but they were not confirmed.

At first, the Pars Khodro Cadilla P90 will be available only with a 5-speed manual transmission, but in the future, an option with a classic automatic transmission of unknown origin is likely.

Other differences from the source include a media system with a small touchscreen, a dashboard with clumsy scales and an on-board computer screen. The rear of the Iranian sedan is quite nice, although the stamping on the trunk lid had to be changed. But the front design is shocking: the bumper is completely inharmonious.

According to official data, the share of Iranian components in the design of the Pars Khodro Cadilla P90 reaches 97 percent, that is, import substitution is almost absolute. It is possible that over time, the Middle Eastern clone of Logan will reach the Russian market.
