At the plant in Ambach, France, production of the Grenadier SUV from Ineos Automotive began for the North American market. In November, the first batch of cars will be shipped to the United States, and in January the Grenadier will appear on the Canadian market. More than seven thousand pre-orders for the Ineos Grenadier have already been received from the United States, making the American market the largest for the automaker.

The Grenadier is a classic SUV with a steel ladder frame, five-link solid axles front and rear, and a body made from aluminum, steel and composites. The drive is permanent all-wheel drive, there is a two-speed Tremec transfer case (reduction ratio 2.5:1) and a central differential lock. Brembo brakes are standard equipment.
