Olympic champion, absolute heavyweight champion and five-time world champion George Foreman put fifty cars up for auction on the Hagerty Marketplace. The boxer said it was “time to share our cars with other like-minded enthusiasts.” The reasons for the sale of the collection are not specified, but the auction will definitely take place: the lots are offered without reserve.

Most George Foreman cars are in excellent condition and have minimal miles. Noteworthy examples are a 2005 Ford GT with 1,271 km, a 2000 BMW Z8 (7,497 km), a 1995 Saleen Mustang S351 (1,178 km), and a 1993 Dodge Viper (2,574 km).

The athlete’s collection also includes the iconic 1987 Ferrari Testarossa, which has only 5.5 thousand kilometers on the odometer. Foreman was fond of American hot rods and classic cars: for example, in 2008, a restored 1931 Ford A Cabriolet was added to the collection. 30 days before the end of trading, the most interesting are the Ford GT ($299 thousand), Ferrari 360 Modena ($100 thousand) and Chevrolet Corvette Stingray ($63.2 thousand).

Auctioneers warn that not all cars are in perfect condition: in 2019, there was a fire in Forman’s garage, and although the fire did not reach the cars directly, soot damaged the metal components, so restoration will not be possible.
