Fresh: Polo and Rapid are the most expensive foreign cars to maintain in Russia
It has become known which cars in the mass segment cost more to maintain. This was reported by Rossiyskaya Gazeta with reference to the leaders of the Fresh automobile marketplace. The cost of maintenance in 2023 increased by 21%, but the maintenance of a number of cars especially hits the owners’ wallets. We are talking about models such as Skoda Rapid and Volkswagen Polo.
In the first case, according to Fresh, maintenance over 5 years will cost almost 69 thousand rubles. You will have to spend more than 85 thousand rubles on maintenance of a Czech car over 5 years, according to experts, taking into account that the average mileage is about 17 thousand kilometers per year. Most of all, owners during the operation of these cars spend money on fuel, consumables and spare parts. It is noted that the price of components for Korean, French and Japanese cars has increased significantly.
