The general director of the Italian company, Benedetto Vigna, confirmed that the order book is scheduled for the whole of 2025: if you order a new Ferrari now, you can receive the car only in 2026. The sales driver was chargeable hybrids: the 296 GTB/GTS and SF90 Stradale/Spider families accounted for 51 percent of orders. Against the backdrop of booming demand, Ferrari improved its EBIDA profit forecast.

The boss of Ferrari told reporters that the development of the Italian brand’s first electric car is ahead of schedule. Benedetto Vigna again confirmed that production of the battery-powered supercar will begin in the last quarter of 2025, and the model will be assembled at a new plant in Maranello. The site is expected to be launched in June 2024.

Ferrari has improved its forecast for 2023 for the second time: the company now expects earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) to reach at least 2.25 billion euros. This figure is 2.7 percent better than previous targets. In the third quarter of this year, Ferrari increased its revenue by a record 37 percent!

By 2030, Ferrari’s portfolio will be 80 percent battery-powered. About 40 percent of sales will come from rechargeable hybrids, the same amount from electric vehicles, and the share of versions with traditional internal combustion engines will be reduced to 20 percent. Nevertheless, the complete oblivion of the internal combustion engine does not threaten: Benedetto Vigna believes that the era of gasoline engines will be extended by synthetic fuel.
