The Chinese Automobiles portal claims that by the end of the month, JAC JS3 of Kazakhstan assembly will be brought to our country. The basic version with a 6-speed “mechanics” will cost 1.74 million rubles, for a modification with a CVT you will have to pay 1.83 million rubles. The novelty is promised rich equipment by default, but the ground clearance is low: only 155 millimeters.

JAC JS3 is interesting because in May this crossover was called the future “Moskvich” by the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The head of the region shared a video of a car crash test when he was on a working trip in China. When exactly JAC will turn into Moskvich has not yet been reported.

Insiders claim that at first we will start selling cars of Kazakhstan assembly with gasoline “atmospherics” with a volume of 1.6 liters. The crossovers will have a Russified media system with a 10.2-inch touchscreen, front and rear parking sensors, climate and cruise control, a stabilization system, a rear-view camera, and up to six airbags.

In the Russian JAC line, the new JS3 will replace the outdated S3 crossover. The sales of the “triples” have actually ended: in six months only 14 cars were registered. However, on the official JAC website, the model still remains at a price of 1.4 million rubles.
