When it comes to the personal cars of Formula 1 drivers, the first things that come to mind are various powerful supercars and luxury premium models, especially if the World Championship driver is a very young driver. However, McLaren team driver Lando Norris suddenly turned out to be a pleasant exception, since the young Briton actively used the 1972 Fiat 500. And now I’ve decided to part with it by putting the car up for auction.

The sky blue hatchback has been converted into a beachy Fiat 500 Jolly Evocation convertible, but this is not one of the 650 original Fiat 500 Jollys from Ghia, but a third-party conversion. This somewhat reduces the historical value, but the loss is more than compensated by the star owner.

The car became the first car purchased by Formula 1 driver Lando Norris with his own funds. It is equipped with a 0.5-liter gasoline engine combined with a 4-speed manual transmission and has a special body.

The car has no doors or roof, and instead of classic armchairs, wicker seats are installed. The condition of the car is assessed as good, but not ideal, since the Briton actively used it in Monaco. An unusual Fiat 500 Jolly Evocation is up for sale on the Car & Classic online marketplace. For a convertible with more than 36,000 kilometers, the seller expects to earn about $40,000.
