Autonews: TOP 10 affordable cars with automatic transmission in Russia in 2023
Journalists from the Autonews portal listed the TOP 10 budget cars with automatic transmission that are presented in Russia. These included representatives of the Chinese and Iranian automobile industries, as well as one domestic model. The Iran Khodro Dena sedan, based on the Peugeot 405, is equipped with a 1.6T and 6-automatic transmission. Its design is reminiscent of the BMW 5 of the E60 generation. Such a car is now supplied to Russia under a parallel import scheme, and the price starts from 1.55 million rubles. Another model of this brand, the Tara, is a sedan of a lower class (from 1.6 million). Moreover, it is based on a modern platform from Peugeot. The Changan Alsvin sedan with a 98-horsepower 1.5-liter internal combustion engine and a 5-speed “robot” has become the most affordable foreign car officially supplied to the Russian Federation (1.75 million rubles).
The compact Chevrolet Spark, the successor to the Daewoo Matiz, is equipped with an 85-horsepower 1.3-liter naturally aspirated engine and a 4-speed automatic (from 1.78 million). The most affordable crossover with automatic transmission in Russia, the Lebanon X3 Pro, is offered for purchase for 1.88 million rubles. Under the hood is a 103-horsepower naturally aspirated engine, and the transmission is a CVT. Jetta VA3 – the Chinese version of the Volkswagen Polo sedan with a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine and 6-automatic transmission is available at a price of 1.89 million rubles. The list of the most budget cars with automatic transmission also includes the popular Haval Jolyon crossover (1.97 million), the Jak JS3 golf car for 1.99 million rubles, and the BAIK U5 Plus sedan (from 2.11 million rubles) and Moskvich 3, which is offered for purchase for 2.18 million rubles (photo: Iran Khodro; Changan).
