A tuner from Russia turned the LADA Niva into a real armored car

In this article we will talk about a truly unique creation of automotive art – the armored Niva, transformed into a luxury SUV called Laura. This example with an interesting history was released in 2014 and initially served as a cash-in-transit vehicle.

However, the current owner has literally “pushed the boundaries” for creativity and turned the protected Niva into a true “beast” of the roads. Having tastefully restored the rotten elements of the body and underbody, the master “rolled up” the entire car in a spectacular polyurethane coating of a radical black color.

At the same time, the original armor was completely preserved. Having gained a little weight due to widened wheel arches and powerful modifications, this Niva acquired a truly extreme look. A new bumper, BMW-style side skirts, an aggressive radiator grille, LED headlights from Lexus – every detail emphasizes the predatory nature of this car.

Particularly impressive is the power of the 20-inch Versus wheels combined with a rear-wheel drive layout and a completely redesigned suspension with elements from leading manufacturers. The Stinger Subaru Sound exhaust system adds growl to the “voice” of the reliable VAZ engine. An ergonomic interior trimmed with genuine leather, many useful options and a cool Pride audio system turns this car into a real “bunker on wheels” for active urban use.

The car was put up for sale a couple of years ago. And despite the solid mileage of 100 thousand km, the proposed price of 1 million rubles seemed to the author quite adequate for such an extraordinary hand-built car. It is unknown whether this car eventually went to a new owner, and if it did, at what price, since the seller was ready to negotiate. But what is known for sure is that no one in Russia has done anything like this with the Niva. (photo: auto.ru)
