In South Korea, they showed the most equipped modifications with the HiLimousine prefix and an enlarged roof. This Kia Carnival can be a four-seater: this configuration is called VIP and is exclusive to the domestic market. Features include parquet flooring, a suite with a foot massager and a refrigerator, a cinema screen built into the ceiling, comfortable armchairs, and a “starry sky.”
All Kia Carnival HiLimousines have window curtains, heated, cooled and illuminated cupholders, and a 21.5-inch monitor. For the VIP version, we prepared special seats with ottomans, heating, ventilation, massage and almost horizontal layout. A touch control panel is provided in the center for the main passengers.

In three boxes in the set behind the front seats there is a refrigerator, a foot massager and a free drawer. The trunk has a rail for outerwear. Of course, there are retractable tables and contour lighting with a “starry sky” function. In the front of the cabin, all updated Kia Carnivals are the same.

There are no restrictions on engines: the same power units are available for the VIP version – a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 (294 horsepower) and a 2.2-liter I4 diesel turbo engine (194 horsepower). In any case, you will have to agree to an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The hybrid version will appear in the top minivan later: already in 2024.
Prices for the Kia Carnival VIP start at 92,000,000 won (equivalent to 70 thousand dollars). For comparison, the seven-seater HiLimousine with extended roof costs from 64,900,000 won ($49,000), while the base nine-seat minivan can be purchased for 34,700,000 won ($26,000). Sales of the new product in South Korea have already begun.
