“Autocode”: the popularity of used cars in Russia continues to grow
The demand for used cars in Russia continues to grow. This is evidenced by data provided by the specialized service “Autocode”. It is noted that in October the number of requests to check car history exceeded 1 million, which was a record high over the past 6 months. The Lada Granta, which was checked 17 thousand times during the reporting period, is still in greatest demand. In second place is Toyota Camry (16.6 thousand). In third place is the Kia Rio with an indicator of 15.8 thousand checks and the Lada Priora with the same result.
The Hyundai Solaris also made it into the TOP 5 (15.3 thousand). Over the course of a year, through the Autocode search, requests for the history of used cars began to be made more often by 28 percent. The undoubted leader is the VAZ model. For more than a year they have been in greatest demand on the Russian market. In total, 160 thousand reports were received on AvtoVAZ models. As for Chinese cars, the choice of such cars on the secondary market is still limited.
