A new car brand, Luxeed, created by Chery and the IT giant, is entering the Chinese market. The first Luxeed model was the coupe-shaped S7 sedan, built on the E0X platform with an 800-volt electrical architecture. There will be a choice of versions with one electric motor on the rear axle and with a dual-motor unit, prices start at 258 thousand yuan (3.3 million rubles).

The Luxeed S7 shares the Chery platform with the Exeed Sterra ES and Sterra ET, and in terms of dimensions the model is comparable to the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The single-wheel drive version of the electric car is equipped with a 292-horsepower electric motor, and the all-wheel drive motor of the same power on the rear axle is assisted by a 204-horsepower electric motor installed at the front – in total they develop 496 horsepower. The power reserve, depending on the version, varies from 550 to 800 kilometers.
