The seller is ready to part with seven Magirus-Deutzs produced in the second half of the 1970s. These trucks were centrally purchased by the USSR in the Federal Republic of Germany for the construction of the Baikal-Amur Mainline. Rarities in good condition.

Magirus-Deutz trucks are well known in the USSR: in the 1970s, a decision was made to purchase a large batch of ten thousand vehicles for the construction of the BAM. Working for a “German” was considered prestigious: in terms of quality and comfort, Magirus-Deutz products were superior to their domestic counterparts. A special feature of cars produced in Germany is their reliable and unpretentious air-cooled diesel engines.

The USSR mainly exported two- and three-axle flatbed trucks and Magirus-Deutz dump trucks with hooded cabs. In the Amur region, three-axle vehicles have been preserved, and there is even a truck tractor with a semi-trailer! The rarities look decent, the seller indicates the year of manufacture 1977 and the discussed price is 800 thousand rubles.

The most popular three-axle Magirus-Deutz 290D26 dump truck was equipped with an atmospheric 14.7-liter V10, which develops 290 horsepower and 873 Nm of torque.
