The American team Hoonigan, which, in addition to preparing cars for races, also maintains its own blog, presented the next episode of its online project This vs. That. In the new race in a straight line, the authors of the project again involved cars from Australia, but both duelists represent the Japanese auto industry. The rival of the considerably modified Nissan GT-R of the R32 generation was the upgraded Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI.

The Japanese sports car of 1994 has a 1300-horsepower 3.2-liter gasoline inline 6-cylinder turbo engine, coupled with a 3-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Nissan weighs about 1550 kilograms.

Mitsubishi of the 1999 model, with a mass of about 1400 kilograms, has in its arsenal a 1480-horsepower 2.2-liter turbocharged in-line 4-cylinder engine in combination with a 5-speed sequential gearbox. The drive is also complete.

Equality in the type of drive, but the difference in mass and power turned the duel of two Japanese cars into a very interesting race from all that bloggers from Hoonigan arranged. Especially considering the fact that JDM equipment ended up on the Green Continent.
