The GTI Clubsport hatchback retained the power unit of its predecessor – a 2.0 TSI engine paired with a DSG robot – but changed slightly in appearance. For example, they gave him headlights and lanterns, and added illumination of the emblem on the radiator grille. Inside, there is a new multifunctional steering wheel and a media system with an advanced IDA voice assistant and ChatGPT artificial intelligence.

The premiere of the updated Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport did not create much of a sensation. The engine of the hatchback is the same – the EA888 Evo4 turbo-four, developing 300 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. The dynamics are also the same as its predecessor: the car accelerates from zero to one hundred in 5.6 seconds, the limiter is activated at 250 kilometers per hour, although it can be moved to 267 when ordering the Race package.

The GTI Clubsport has an electronically controlled differential in the front axle instead of its imitation and a Special driving mode that takes into account the topology of the Nordschleife – all this was available in the pre-reform model. The DCC adaptive suspension remains an option. At the same time, the hatchback will change slightly in appearance; it has received different lighting equipment and an illuminated emblem on the radiator grille. The interior features a new multifunctional steering wheel and a media system with IDA and ChatGPT voice assistant.

The standard wheels are 19-inch Queenstown, new design. For an additional fee, they can be replaced with forged Warmenau, each weighing only eight kilograms. As Volkswagen promised, the GTI Clubsport retained the title of the most powerful front-wheel drive Golf, but in the overall standings among production models the Golf R (333 hp) is in the lead, and the small-scale model is the Golf R360S (360 hp).
