The unusual project was built by Japanese sculptor Masumi Yamaguchi, who published a video with the process of creating the replica on his YouTube channel. Despite its detailed exterior, the SUV can be easily carried by two men. At the same time, the creator did not disclose the weight of the foam Land Cruiser.

Masumi Yamaguchi decided to build a foam Land Cruiser 70 to celebrate the return of the updated SUV to the home market. At the same time, the sculptor decided to build a model on a 1:1 scale. In a ten-minute video, the master demonstrated the process of creating a copy of an SUV from several large blocks of foam plastic. During the work, the specialist completely repeated all the curves of the body of a real car, and also copied the shape of the radiator grille, alloy wheels and tires with treads.

The foam Land Cruiser 70 was painted in a classic light beige color for the model, which is combined with black plastic parts. From a distance, a homemade car can be mistaken for a real SUV. The creator did not reveal the weight of the copy, but the video shows that the foam plastic Kruzak can be easily carried by two people.

Last summer, a copy of James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5 sports car, built from Lego, was shown online. A life-size model was exhibited in the store of a Danish designer manufacturer.
