The sporting goods maker has teamed up with Bugatti on a limited-edition Adidas X Crazyfast Bugatti sneaker “designed for ultimate ease and style.” The blue and black boots have a special design with many references to French hypercars, a unique box with imitation carbon fiber weaving and a tiny edition: only 99 pairs will be sold worldwide.

The main part of the boot features the signature Bugatti Blue color, which is combined with the three black Adidas stripes and a black rear section with the Bugatti logo. Designers strived to create a shoe that’s as light yet durable as possible, using an Adidas Speedframe outsole, supportive Aerocage lining, and breathable Aeropacity Speedskin mesh. There is also an insert made of real carbon fiber, like in hypercars, – it is integrated into the sole.

The sides of the boots are emblazoned with the slogans Impossible is Nothing and Create the Incomparable, owned by Adidas and Bugatti respectively. The sneakers will be delivered in a unique box, the design of which is inspired by carbon fiber weaving.

According to Nick Craggs, general manager and senior vice president of Adidas Football, the adidas X Crazyfast Bugatti will make its live debut in November, worn on the pitch by soccer players Karim Benzema and Rafael Leao.

Due to the small circulation, the boots will be sold at auction on the Adidas Collect Web 3 platform from November 8 to 11. The starting price has not been disclosed, but it will certainly be much higher than the cost of a standard pair of Adidas X Crazyfast – 260 euros (25.6 thousand rubles at today’s exchange rate).

In September, Porsche released special sneakers. The brand celebrated the 60th anniversary of the 911 sports car by joining forces with Puma. The shoes are made in the style of the modern Porsche 911 S/T and at the same time are a historical prototype of the 911 S (T) of 1972.
