The new generation Atlas crossover – and this is how the model is positioned in the Russian office of Geely – received a long-awaited version with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The new product costs from 3,399,990 to 3,699,990 rubles depending on the configuration, and it has already appeared at official dealers of the brand. For comparison, prices for a front-wheel drive Atlas with a robot start at 3,199,990 and go up to 3,499,990 rubles without discounts.

The main thing you need to know about the new Atlas modification is that it has a sixth-generation automatically connected all-wheel drive system, which independently varies and directs traction to the axles in a ratio of up to 50:50. And instead of a seven-speed “robot,” the all-wheel drive crossover has an eight-speed Aisin automatic transmission with a torque converter. In addition, in addition to the four standard driving modes – Comfort, Eco, Sport, Intelligent – two more have been added: Offroad mode. perfect for light off-road use, and the Snow mode will help the driver when driving in winter. Well, externally, an all-wheel drive crossover can be recognized by the AWD nameplate on the tailgate.

The engine is the same as the Atlas with front-wheel drive – a two-liter gasoline unit with a capacity of 200 horsepower. Atlas AWD has three trim levels to choose from: Luxury costing 3,399,990 rubles, Flagship costing 3,599,990 rubles and Flagship Sport costing 3,699,990 rubles. Taking into account the maximum discount, prices can be reduced to 3,049,990, 3,249,990 and 3,349,990 rubles, respectively.

Already in the standard level of equipment there are LED optics, 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic roof with a sunroof, dual-zone climate control and a 13.2-inch vertical touchscreen multimedia system, as well as heated front and rear seats. The Flagship version is complemented by a head-up display, the number of audio system speakers has been increased to 11, and the tailgate is equipped with an electric drive. Well, the Flagship Sport features 20-inch wheels and two-tone paint with a black roof.

According to Autostat, in May Geely sold 10,271 new cars in Russia, which is 53.5 percent more than in the same month in 2023. In the general ranking of companies in terms of sales volumes, the brand occupies fourth place (after Lada, Haval and Chery). From January to May, the company’s sales amounted to 58,014 vehicles, an increase of 125.1 percent.
