Autostat publishes statistics on sales of new crossovers and SUVs for April 2024 and notes that the Belgee X50 model, also known as Geely Coolray, assembled in Belarus, was included in the rating for the first time. Moreover, it takes penultimate, tenth place, ahead of the original Geely Coolray. But on the first line was another “Chinese” – Haval Jolion, which sells better than Lada Niva.

In the second month of spring, Russians bought 6,112 copies of Haval Jolion, which is 73.2 percent more than in April 2023. In second place in the ranking of Russians’ favorite crossovers is the Lada Niva Legend, which sold 4,501 units during the reporting period. This result is 60.5 percent more than last year. The Lada Niva Legend closes the top three (4,501 cars, an increase of 60.5 percent).

In fourth place is the Chinese Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max, which found 4,379 owners (+71 percent). It is worth noting that this model is now produced at the former Nissan plant in St. Petersburg, but under a different name – Xcite X-Cross 7. It has not yet gone on sale. In addition to the four listed crossovers, the “junior” Chery Tiggo 4 Pro was also included in the rating, which is located in fourth place. Its sales totaled 4,286 copies, up 24.3 percent from the same month a year earlier.

In sixth position is the Omoda C5 (3,499 units, +41.8 percent), in seventh is Geely Monjaro (3,302 units, an increase of 5.2 times), in eighth is the Haval M6 (3,235 units), and the top 10 Belgee X50 (3005 units) and Geely Coolray (2130 units, -48.7 percent).
