Autonews.ru drew attention to the changes that have occurred in the price list of the Skywell hybrid crossover since its appearance on the Russian market. Sales of the model started in May 2023, that is, exactly a year ago: during this time, HT-i added almost half a million rubles in price, or more precisely, 460 thousand. This corresponds to a price increase of 11.5 percent. As of early May 2024, Skywell HT-i in its basic configuration can be purchased for 4.45 million rubles, and the most expensive option costs more than five million.

Skywell HT-i is a mid-size crossover that is in the same class as, for example, the Toyota RAV4. It is driven by a gas-electric installation consisting of a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 103 horsepower, as well as a 177-horsepower electric motor mounted on the front axle. The hybrid is charged from an outlet, but if the battery runs out on the road or when you need to maintain the charge at a certain level, the internal combustion engine comes into play. In other cases, the gasoline engine is responsible for recharging the battery.

The crossover has two batteries to choose from – 21.7 kilowatt-hours, the charge of which is enough for 81 kilometers on the WLTP cycle, and 32.8 kilowatt-hours. The latter provides up to 145 kilometers of pure electric power.

The Skywell HT-i’s rated consumption is 0.8 liters of AI-92 gasoline with a fully charged battery. If the battery is discharged, the consumption will increase to 5.8-6.1 liters, depending on the modification.

The model’s equipment list includes laser headlights, a panoramic roof, 19-inch wheels, an electric tailgate, adaptive cruise control, an automatic parking system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel.

At the start of sales, the starting price of the model was 3.99 million rubles (Comfort package). The “average” Premium version was estimated at 4.45 million, and the top Luxury version at 4.79 million rubles. A year later, Skywell HT-i has risen in price at all performance levels and now costs 4.45, 4.65 and 5.05 million rubles, respectively.
