The authors of the Carwow channel, in the next straight race, compared a modern sports car and a classic station wagon, but much modified. The rival of the Audi RS 5 coupe is the Honda Civic station wagon, which received quite serious tuning from Bisimoto. And the potential of the tuning car shows that in drag races it is not only pure power that is important, but also the level of grip on the track, without which it is simply impossible to realize the full potential.

The Audi RS 5 is equipped with a 2.9-liter V6 petrol turbo engine, canonical for modern RS models, which produces 450 horsepower and 600 Nm in the coupe. The engine is combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, and the model weighs 1,707 kilograms.

The Honda Civic is lighter – 1,100 kilograms – and more powerful, since the standard 108-horsepower 1.6-liter engine has given way to a 2.4-liter turbo engine with 834 horsepower and 817 Nm. The engine is combined with a 5-speed sequential gearbox and all-wheel drive.
