Carlex Design presented one of the most impressive projects for modifying the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, which was called G-Falcon.

The 2023 Mercedes-AMG G63 with a 577-horsepower twin-turbocharged V8 was taken as the basis. But this SUV is not designed to drive fast: it should delight everyone who sees it with its appearance.

The project was born out of the company’s desire to create something truly unique, one of a kind. At the heart of G-Falcon is a love of nature and, in particular, falcons.

The main feature is the roof, which houses a huge hand-engraved image of a falcon in the forest. Hand engraving can also be seen on the side moldings and wheel arches, where decorative patterns are used and the contrast of polished metal with flecks of gold. These hand-designed and hand-cut designs took 36 months to complete, being manufactured separately and then attached to the bodywork.

The G-Falcon has been updated with a carbon fiber body kit that includes front and rear bumpers, a radiator grille, wheel arch extensions, side sills and a spare wheel cover on the tailgate. It and the rest of the body, which is not hand-engraved, are covered with one kilogram of diamond dust. Carlex has already done this for its projects based on the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Bentley Bentayga.

The interior is covered in patinated dark brown leather, carefully stitched by hand, which perfectly complements the appearance of the SUV. Leather covers almost everything, from the seats to the dashboard and all the crannies and corners surrounding them. Everything that is not covered with leather is decorated with hand engraving. This combination turns the G63 into a mobile palace.

The project took about 4 years to complete and must have cost astronomical amounts of money.
