Previously, the name Fulwin was used for budget models, such as Amulet and Bonus, familiar to Russians. Now Fulwin’s positioning will be radically different: from now on, Fulwin will be expensive premium electric cars and hybrids. The family will consist of 11 models, but so far Chery has shown only two of them – the practical production-ready Fulwin A9 sedan and the T11 large SUV, which debuted as a concept.

In terms of technology, Fulwin cars will be unified with Sterra (aka Elantix, which are waiting in Russia). Both Fulvins and Sterra are built on the E0X modular platform, which has an 800-volt electrical architecture. This “cart” is used to power both electric cars with a range of up to 700 kilometers and plug-in hybrids capable of driving up to 1.4 thousand kilometers. But Fulwin also has a difference – while air suspension is announced for Sterra/Elantix, Fulwin will have adaptive shock absorbers. Electric cars will be available with both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

The five-meter Fulwin A9 sedan has 21-inch wheels and ten airbags, one of which is for pedestrians. So far, all that is known about the model is that it can accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in five seconds. The Fulwin T11 SUV has a three-row interior, cameras instead of exterior mirrors and a hybrid power plant. He also scores his first “hundred” in five seconds.

The full debut of Chery Fulwin A9 is expected before the end of this year, and Fulwin T11 will be presented in the first half of 2024. In addition to 11 Fulwin models, Chery will produce hybrids and electric cars under its other sub-brands – Sterra, Jetour and iCar.
