The photographs published by Quto.ru show the Dayun Yuehu model – this is a 3.6-meter battery-powered hatchback, which in its native China costs 70 thousand yuan, which is equivalent to 900 thousand rubles. For comparison, in Russia you can buy a top-end Lada Granta Cross for this money. Judging by the photographs, Yuehu does not have registration numbers, and it is unknown how he ended up in Moscow. At the same time, Dayun previously intended to arrange supplies of its cars to the Russian market, but this has not yet happened.

Last summer it was announced that the Dayun automobile brand, previously not represented on our market, could appear in Russia. The company intended to launch sales in the country of the Dayun Yuanzhi M1 minivans and the Yuehu city hatchback – the same one that was photographed the other day in Moscow. At the same time, it was reported that a distributor had allegedly been found, and Dayun was already certifying the models required for official deliveries and sales. Apparently, Quto.ru photographed one of the samples imported for testing.

It was expected that Yuehu would be brought to Russia with a souped-up engine and a battery of increased capacity – 60 kilowatt-hours. In China, the city car is equipped with a 48-horsepower engine and half the battery, so the range is a modest 330 kilometers on the CLTC cycle.

How much do the most affordable Chinese cars cost in Russia? Budget Chinese cars are easy to steal. And that’s why budget Chinese cars will be assembled at the Bryansk plant

The Yuanzhi M1 minivan, which was also promised to the Russians, was of greater interest. This is a 4.85-meter single-volume car with three rows of seats, which travels up to 550 kilometers on a single battery charge, and is driven by a 187-horsepower electric motor. In China, it costs from 178 thousand yuan (2.3 million rubles at today’s exchange rate).
