In the Telegram group of the Russian representative office of the brand from China, which does not yet have hundreds of subscribers, photographs appeared with many vans in different colors. Haima plans to begin shipping to dealers at the end of the month. At the end of September, the company in Russia had only nine sales points in different regions of the country, and there were none in Moscow or St. Petersburg.
The Haima 7X minivan, on sale since 2020, is powered by a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 194 horsepower. It is combined with a six-speed automatic transmission. There is also a less powerful option with a 1.5 unit producing 165 horsepower. In China, a 4.8-meter seven-seater van is sold at a price of 125.8 thousand yuan (about 1.5 million rubles).

In addition to the 7X, Haima will bring the 8S crossover to Russia. The Pininfarina studio worked on the design of both models. The all-terrain vehicle is slightly older than the minivan: it entered the Chinese market in 2019. Under the hood, the 8S has a 194-horsepower 1.6 engine, paired with a manual, automatic or robotic transmission. The model has only front-wheel drive, and the price starts at 79.9 thousand yuan (about a million rubles).
Haima has already worked in Russia. From 2011 to 2016, it sold on the Russian market, including crossovers with the M3 and 7 indices, but in five years it managed to sell only 5.2 thousand cars. As a result, sales had to be stopped.
Now the manufacturer has decided to try once again to conquer the changed market. Its return was announced in the spring by MVL AVTO LLC, the official distributor in Russia and Belarus.
