“Chinese Hyundai Creta” goes on sale in Russia

The second generation Hyundai ix25 crossover was introduced in China in 2019, and in other countries it was called Creta and Cantus. The car offered by a dealer from Vladivostok was released in 2020 and has covered about eight thousand kilometers, but it has no mileage in Russia. Cost: 2.43 million rubles. For comparison, at the end of 2021, shortly before Hyundai stopped supplying, the Creta price started at 1.24 million.

The equipment of this Hyundai ix25 is unknown, but the list of equipment includes LED optics and a panoramic roof with a sunroof. The interior features a large vertical screen in the center, a digital instrument panel and a Terrain Mode drive mode selector. Judging by the photo, the upholstery of the seats and steering wheel is leather.

The crossover is driven by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated G4FL unit, developing 115 horsepower and 144 Nm of torque. It is paired with a variator; the car has front-wheel drive. The seller notes that this is the same Hyundai Creta that was manufactured in Russia, but our Creta was equipped with 1.6 or 2.0 engines.

Previously, dealers delivered new Suzuki Fronx crossovers at approximately the same price – from 2.6 million rubles. Cars with a one and a half liter engine producing 103 horsepower, technically close to the Suzuki Baleno, were imported from India.
