During the holidays, the GAZ Group plant will carry out equipment upgrades, service maintenance, repair and commissioning works that cannot be carried out without stopping the conveyor.
The press service of MAZ Moskvich emphasized that there is a sufficient stock of finished cars in the warehouse, so that consumers will not face shortages of crossovers from dealers. It is curious that by the end of the coming week, AvtoVAZ will go on an unscheduled vacation: the schedule had to be moved due to a lack of components.
In September, a new model will be prescribed at the Moskvich plant: a liftback with an index of “6”. Until the end of the year, another crossover, Moskvich 5, will be localized at the capital’s plant. Both cars will turn out to be variants of the Chinese JAC, and all the specifications for the Russian market are not known for certain.
At the Gorky Automobile Plant, new models are also being prepared: a presentation of the 12-ton Valdai truck is to take place in the fall, all-wheel drive Sobol NN is on the way, and they plan to show the design of the revived Volga soon.
