“Chinese cars”: the assembly of the Haval M6 crossover was launched in the Tula region

One of the most affordable Haval models, the Haval M6 2023 crossover, was launched into production at a plant near Tula. This was reported by Chinese Cars, citing its sources. Let us remind you that the market debut of the model in Russia took place in the second half of summer.

The cars are supplied directly from China, and the manufacturer itself has not announced the localization of production. Moreover, the “six” is not in the recent press release, which indicates the cars that are produced at the Russian plant. According to data received from two sources at once, the first copies of the family SUV began rolling off the assembly line back in August. The production volume of these crosses should reach more than 1 thousand copies by the end of 2023. So far there is no evidence of this (photo: Haval).

The cost of the car is from 2.08 million rubles. If Haval M6 really began to be produced in the Russian Federation, then its price tag may decrease, and customers will also have the opportunity to take advantage of preferential lending, which will make the possibility of purchasing it even more attractive. Note that the SUV is available in 2 trim levels. The car is equipped with a 143-horsepower 1.5-liter engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed robot.
