The American tuning studio Ringbrothers, which made a name for itself by modifying classic American cars, presented the canonical Dodge Charger, modified in-house, at the SEMA Show tuning exhibition in 2023. After installing modern units, the model received the name Tusk and managed to hide the new “filling” under the original body. However, the car still has several new carbon fiber elements.

The restomod was built on a chassis from the Roadster Shop, which made it possible to change the suspension architecture – the front wheels were moved forward, a stabilizer bar was installed at the front, and a multi-link suspension and Fox RS SV coilovers appeared at the rear. In addition, the engine position has been changed for optimal weight distribution.

The rear-wheel drive coupe uses a 7.0-liter V8 engine from the Hellephant family from Mopar as the power unit – a total of 100 copies of the 1,000-horsepower engine developing 1,288 Nm of torque were made. The engine is mated to a Bowler Tremec T-56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission with a carbon fiber driveshaft. The standard brakes gave way to more powerful Baer mechanisms.

Visually, Tusk resembles the standard 1969 Dodge Charger, but in fact the restomod received several new elements made of carbon fiber – a body kit that includes bumpers, side skirts, front and rear body panels, a hood and a number of other parts, stylized to resemble standard body panels. The car is painted in Black to the Future, which is complemented by gold-colored elements and exclusive HRE wheels of the same shade. The interior is stylized as original, but received new instruments, a modern Vintage Air climate system and JL Audio acoustics.
