The new product, called N-Van e, is entering the Japanese market: there the battery version will go on sale in October, but prices are already known – from 2,699,400 yen (equivalent to one and a half million rubles). There will be four versions to choose from, including a passenger version with four seats, a cargo version, a commercial version and a stylish version for private clients – it received the Fun prefix.

The fact that Honda is developing an electric version of the N-Van kei car became known last year, and at the same time they announced the timing of the model’s entry into the market – the second half of 2024. The company is sticking to the plan, as the launch of the N-Van e: is scheduled for October 10. In the meantime, some technical characteristics have been declassified: the electric car is equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 29.6 kilowatt-hours, one charge of which is enough for 245 kilometers. And you can recharge it to 100 percent from a station with a power of up to 50 kW in half an hour.

The power of the electric motor is not given, but according to unofficial data, it is 64 horsepower. But it is known that the electric car operates stably not only under optimal temperature conditions, but also in the cold – thanks to the cooling/heating system, the optimal temperature of the batteries is maintained, as a result of which they do not overheat in the heat and do not lose efficiency in the cold.

There are four versions to choose from. This is a four-seater passenger e: L4, a stylish e: FUN with an expanded list of equipment (for example, this version has LED headlights, and its interior is decorated in two colors), a two-seater commercial e: L2, in which the passenger seat is located behind the driver, and a cargo e: G with a single driver’s seat.

Earlier it became known that Honda will begin using the latest e Architecture EV platform a year earlier than originally expected – in 2025. The first to be built on the new architecture will be an electric car of “medium and large sizes” (probably we are talking about two versions), for which the latest operating system and an expanded set of driver assistance systems are announced.
