The Honda Prologue, introduced last year, has begun to acquire details. For the Japanese brand, this is the first electric crossover in its history. The studio in Los Angeles was responsible for its design, which, in contrast to the rough Passport and CR-V, came up with a more refined neo-rugged style. Prologue will enter the American market in 2024 and before government subsidies will cost about 40 thousand dollars (3.9 million rubles).

The model belongs to the mid-size crossover segment. It is based on the Ultium modular architecture, which also powers the Cadillac Lyriq, Chevrolet Blazer EV and the new Acura ZDX. Prologue will receive original suspension settings and will be offered with one or two electric motors. Drive – front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. In the second case, the output will be 292 horsepower and 452 Nm of torque. Battery capacity is 85 kilowatt-hours. This should be enough for 482 kilometers on the EPA cycle.

The Prologue supports 155 kilowatt DC charging, meaning 10 minutes will give you an additional 105 kilometers. The crossover will be equipped with an Active Sound Control sound generator, a sporty driving profile, and the basic list of equipment will include eight airbags, a set of Honda Sensing electronic assistants, heated front seats, a platform for wireless charging of smartphones and a media system with support for Google services, over-the-air and smart updates. -navigation that plots a route taking into account the availability of charging stations.

The top version of the Elite, in turn, boasts the largest wheels among all Honda models – 21 inches. In addition, such a crossover will have a head-up display, a panoramic roof, a Bose audio system with 12 speakers, and the same Sport mode. Formally, Prologue will act as a pioneer in the highly competitive American market.
