The new Lada Vesta began to receive a Japanese “automatic” from Toyota with mileage

An interesting service from a tuning workshop is gaining popularity in Yekaterinburg – replacing the “original” manual transmission on a new generation Lada Vesta with a 4-speed automatic transmission from Toyota. The procedure costs 120 thousand rubles and takes 3-5 days.

For refurbishment, contract “Japanese” ones with a mileage of up to 80 thousand kilometers are used. The service life of such units is 300-350 thousand kilometers, which is quite acceptable for a front-wheel drive Vesta with a 106-horsepower engine. There are no problems with registering changes in the traffic police, they give a 1-year guarantee. Installing a “foreign” machine is a necessary measure. After all, for now Vesta NG is produced only with the VAZ-2180 “mechanics”. Our own variator is expected no earlier than the end of 2023, sales will begin at the turn of the year. In the meantime, many people do not want to buy a car with manual control.

Replacing with a reliable “Japanese automatic” is an excellent solution for those who want to get a comfortable Vesta NG right now. Even if it comes at an additional cost. This decision will help AvtoVAZ survive the transition period until the appearance of its automatic transmission. And drivers will be able to enjoy the comfort of the new Vesta instead of the tedious “knocking” at traffic lights. (photo: screenshot from youtube.com, Lada)
