At the CybertruckOwnersClub specialized forum, excerpts from documents from the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) were shared. It turned out that at the start of sales they will offer two versions: Standard (with two electric motors) and Performance (with three electric motors). Even the base version will be classified as G (curb weight over 8001 pounds or 3629 kilograms)!

For the three-motor Tesla Cybertruck, category H is declared (curb weight over 9001 pounds or 4082 kilograms). Consequently, the most powerful truck from Elon Musk will play in the weight category of the GMC Hummer EV and will be half a ton heavier than the GAZ Valdai truck! It is curious that the autonomy of the Cybertruck should be quite good: about 350 miles (560 kilometers) when measured without load.

It is already clear that the basic rear-wheel drive version of the Tesla Cybertruck for 40 thousand dollars is out of the question: such a modification is simply not certified. There is no new information on characteristics and prices, although there is less than a month left before the start of deliveries to customers. Obviously, before November 30, the pickup must appear in the EPA rating, that is, the range and power indicators will still become public knowledge.

Initially, Elon Musk stated that the three-engine top version would cost 70 thousand dollars, but today this price looks too optimistic. Competitors are more expensive: the most equipped Ford F-150 Lightning will cost $92 thousand, Rivian R1T – $80 thousand, GMC Hummer EV – $120 thousand.
