The characteristics of the Tesla Cybertruck pickup truck have leaked to the Internet: it will be GAZ Valdai

The characteristics of the long-awaited Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup truck were leaked online from documents of the American National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. It turned out that the car will be offered in two versions – Standard and Performance, both of which belong to the category of heavy trucks.

Even the base Cybertruck Standard with two electric motors falls into category G with a weight of over 3629 kg. And the three-engine Performance with a weight of more than 4082 kg already belongs to category H. That is, the Cybertruck will compete in size with the GMC Hummer EV and exceed the weight of the Valdai GAZ by almost half a ton. At the same time, the Cybertruck’s autonomy is promised at 560 km – a good indicator for such a heavy vehicle. There is no longer talk of a possible rear-wheel drive version – it simply has not been certified. There is no data on capacity yet, although the start of deliveries is scheduled for November 30.

It is clear that the price of 70 thousand dollars for the top-end option is now unlikely – competitors are more expensive. So the Cybertruck is unlikely to be the most affordable electric pickup, given its dimensions. But in terms of characteristics, it can surpass its competitors, justifying the image of the most technologically advanced and productive electric truck. (photo: Tesla)
