As TASS writes, a group of deputies from the LDPR, led by Yaroslav Nilov, is going to submit a corresponding bill to the State Duma. According to it, car owners with three or more minor children will be exempt from paying transport tax. But only if the engine output of the car does not exceed 150 horsepower.

The bill also proposes to exempt the only parent of one or more minor children from transport tax. The authors note that the adoption of this project “will improve the well-being of large families and families with a single parent.”

Today, each constituent entity of Russia has its own rules that exempt certain categories of citizens from transport tax. For example, in some regions, concessions have been introduced for pensioners, disabled people and parents of disabled children.

Earlier, the LDPR brought up another proposal for discussion – to reduce the transport tax for careful drivers by half. They offered to give a discount to drivers of cars and motorcycles who have never violated traffic rules during the year.
