Over the 10 months of 2023, 375 luxury cars were purchased in Russia

According to the automotive analytical agency Avtostat, over the 10 months of 2023, 375 new premium and ultra-luxury segment cars were sold in Russia. This figure is 78% higher than the same period last year.

In October of this year, Russians bought 35 luxury foreign cars. This is 94% more than in October 2022. At the same time, compared to the previous month, demand decreased slightly – 36 similar cars were sold in September. The sales leader in October was the Italian brand Lamborghini – 13 cars. It is followed by Bentley (11), Rolls-Royce (5), Maserati (4 copies). Aston Martin and Ferrari also found buyers for one car each.

The first place in the model ranking of luxury new products is occupied by the Lamborghini Urus SUV with 13 copies sold. The second and third places are occupied by Bentley Bentayga (7) and Rolls-Royce Cullinan (5). It is worth noting that the demand of Russians for such luxury vehicles has been declining since April 2022. Then this segment showed a record result – 51 cars sold per month. Experts explain this situation by a general decline in the purchasing power of the population against the backdrop of current economic realities. (photo: Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls-Royce)
