Relatively recently it became known about changes in the passage of technical inspection. The main emphasis in the new version of this procedure is that it is now not available in a remote format, as it could be done before. A correspondent for Autonews.ru had to check all the conditions for passing the technical inspection for himself. Due to certain circumstances, he needed to update his diagnostic chart.
He went to the car service in his 2012 Renault Duster, which he inherited. By the way, the former owner underwent maintenance remotely, which is no longer available. This point was confirmed, since all insurance companies strongly recommended going to one of the car repair shops so that the car could be examined by specialists, who would also take the necessary photos and issue a diagnostic card.
The cost of the procedure cost one thousand rubles. At the same time, another client who arrived later paid 1.5 thousand rubles. The craftsmen pay special attention to the optics, glass, muffler, absence of a towbar and traces of an accident on the body. Most of the doubts were about the suspension and brakes, but only the latter were checked. The card indicated full compliance with the standards, although the light bulb above the number was faulty, but the master did not emphasize this.
