Automobili Pininfarina, which produces the Pininfarina Battista electric hypercar, has announced another special version of its model. The source of inspiration for it was the 1955 Lancia Florida sedan. This was the personal car of Battista “Pinin” Farina, who not only painted this model, but also used the car throughout his life. The sedan, which was called a living sculpture, is kept in the Pininfarina SpA collection in Cambiano, Italy.

The original machine was the main inspiration for the Battista Cinquantacinque. The electric car is painted in Blu Savoia Gloss, contrasting with the Bianco Sestriere Gloss roof and complemented by a Brushed Anodized decor package. The interior is trimmed in custom Mahagoni leather from Poltrona Frau.

The livery and name Cinquantacinque, which means 55 in Italian, pays homage to the cult classic 1955 Lancia Florida designed by Carrozzeria Pininfarina. There is a commemorative badge on the passenger door, and the lower part of the active rear fender bears the Cinquantacinque 55 signature.

The special version does not imply any technical changes, which means that the hypercar is equipped with four electric motors with a combined output of 1927 horsepower and a Rimac traction battery with a capacity of 120 kilowatt-hours. The car can reach a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, and the power reserve is 476 kilometers. The cost of Battista Cinquantacinque has not been announced.
