A batch of DFSK vehicles (a joint venture of Dongfeng Sokon) was assembled by the Kaliningrad Avtotor at the request of Motorinvest. It includes two models: the sports cross-coupe ix5 and the three-row all-wheel drive crossover ix7. All the cars from the declared batch have been assembled, and, as the Avtopotok telegram channel writes, this is the end of the joint project between Avtotor and Motorinvest.

Despite the fact that the production of ix5 and ix7 was curtailed, both models will remain in service, only now they will be supplied to Russia from China. The ix5 cross-coupe is slightly larger in size than the Haval F7x, it has a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 137 horsepower and only front-wheel drive.

With a length of almost five meters and a wheelbase of just over 2.8 meters, the three-row ix7 is comparable to the Exeed VX. Under the hood it has a two-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 231 horsepower, which works in conjunction with a six-speed automatic transmission. The ix7 has all-wheel drive, with simulated differential locking.

Both models come with a warranty of three years or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. DFSK ix5 costs from 2,990,000 rubles, and ix7 – from 3,990,000 rubles.
