Of course, units are constantly being rebuilt and updated during the season – this is a common practice for all teams. Such a rebuild is required with the least frequency in the Touring class, since the cars there are initially more durable. Because they were originally created for professional racing, with minimal use of serial parts.
No matter how tough racing cars are, anything can happen to them on the track. Once, during a racing weekend, one car burned out, another overturned, and then a third ended up on its roof. Only the fourth car was spared by the adventure. The mechanics didn’t sleep for three days and were able to get two cars out of the three victims running – the reward for the whole team was the prizes we took in that race at Moscow Raceway in 2012.”

Unlike a racing car, a regular car lasts much longer than a couple of years. And in a situation of high prices for new models and the replacement of familiar brands with little-known new ones, the relevance of the secondary market increases significantly.
