Auto expert Zaitsev: Russians are careless when choosing a used car
Automotive journalist and auto selector from Krasnodar Artem Zaitsev talked about what mistakes are made when buying a used car. He spoke about this in a conversation with RG correspondents. The expert notes that the main problems at the stage of choosing a used car included neglect of the services of services that provide reports on the history of the car, negligent attitude towards documents, and buyers do not take into account that they will have to invest in a used car. Often, when purchasing a vehicle, only the costs directly for its acquisition are taken into account.
However, in this case, according to Zaitsev, it is necessary to provide that about 10% of it should be added to the main amount. These funds will be used for accounting, replacement of consumables, as well as repairs and maintenance. It is also worth paying attention to the fact that the documents for the car were in order, and it is important to identify the car and the seller. Otherwise, there is a risk that the car purchased from the secondary market may not be registered. The expert notes that when choosing a car, at a minimum, you need to look at the report on it, as well as seek the services of professionals and check everything carefully before concluding a deal.
