Photos of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class in the Z223 body with a blue flashing light and a special pass were circulated on the Internet. Judging by the chrome inserts in the front bumper, we are talking about the top version of the S 680 with a V12 engine, although there are no nameplates on the body. The car in the photo is armored, and there are no such cars on the market, but the original limousine costs in Russia from 28.5 million rubles.

The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class in the Z223 body does not have a factory armored version, but the Nizhny Novgorod workshop RIDA is ready to protect the current limousine according to the VR7+/B6+ standard. A year ago they showed the first sample based on the S 580 variant, and now the V12 version can also be booked. After the intervention of the studio, the luxury car will withstand fire from Dragunov’s sniper rifle.

The Russian special services now have a “sanctioned” Mercedes for a million euros. In Russia they made a Maybach convertible, which Mercedes did not dare to buy. The Federal Security Service purchased a luxury Chinese minivan.

A sign of third-party armor is retractable door handles. The Mercedes-Benz S 680 from the Guard division has traditional door handles for direct grip. However, cars with protection from German masters also appeared in special garages despite the sanctions. The twelve-cylinder sedans have similar features: a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12, a classic automatic and 4Matic all-wheel drive.

The Russian studio RIDA can book almost any mass-produced premium car. The portfolio includes projects of protected Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Toyota Land Cruiser 300, Lexus LX 600, Land Rover Range Rover Long, Mercedes-AMG G 63 and Mercedes-Benz V-Class. Prices available on request.
